What's Your 2012 Game Plan?

Welcome Back

Susan Weinstock
HTI Editorial Director

It's that time on our calendars when dates are scheduled for "next year" and some feelings of uncertainty surface about the year ahead.  As an antidote to uncertainty, I'm ready with my 2012 game plan -- embrace "turn a challenge into an opportunity" as often as possible.  Here's one example to consider.

Olympics 2012 is a tourism boon, but costs will be high.  Can you save a client's vacation (and your booking) by creating an alternative?  Absolutely.  The Olympic lover may need to forego a July visit, but why not visit the month before?  Tour Olympic Park, cheer a torchbearer in one of 1,000 cities, enjoy pre-Olympic excitement.  Create a different but equally memorable vacation experience for your client.  You'll be glad you did.

Best wishes to all for a wonderful holiday and happy and successful New Year.
