How can I contact the hotels in Hotel & Travel
Index online? Can I book directly from this site?
There are many ways to contact the hotels that are on HTI
online. The phone number for each property is included in the listings in the
search results page, and on each property page. Many hotels will choose to
list an active link identified by "book now" button which will take
you directly to their website where you can book their hotels.
Using the Site
Why are some listings boxed and/or shaded?
Our advertisers on hotelandtravelindex.com are given expanded
listings. Those with larger advertisements are given expanded listings with a
box around them, to draw more attention to their property, and the premier
advertisers are given a shaded background to their listing, so that their
information stands out. For more information on a property, click on the
property name (the part that is underlined), and you will be taken to a page
with comprehensive information on that property.
Why are some properties shown up at the top?
The hotels that are featured in our "sponsored"
section have chosen to be featured at the top of the listing pages, so that
they can be found easily in cities with many hotels. For more information on

How do I use the compare feature?
To compare multiple properties within a city or area, click on
the check box marked "compare", which is to the left of the listing.
Repeat this process for each of the properties that you are interested in
comparing. After you have selected the properties, click on
"compare", and you will see a side-by-side list of the features of
each of your selections.

Click on the "Register" link and then click on the
"forgot my password link" and we will send you and e-mail with your
user id and password.

How do I update my hotel’s information? How often
can I update my listing?
You can update the information that we have for your hotel by
going to http://hoteldata.ntmllc.com.
If you do not have a password, you will find instructions on how to obtain one.
You can update your listing online at http://www.hoteldata.ntmllc.com as
often as you like, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
If I update my hotel’s data, when will the change
take place online?
The data is refreshed daily. Please allow a few days for
processing any changes that you submit.
Where does this data come from?
Hotel listing data comes directly from hoteliers, advertising
and non-advertising hotels have the opportunity to update their information anytime,
though the Central Travel Database questionnaire found at http://hoteldata.ntmllc.com.
